The Hubster. You might even get to meet him, if he's second shooting with me. He is absolutely the real deal. We met in 2006 and became best friends. For the next 4 years he was in my life without fail. In 2011 we made it more. Saying "I Do" in 2013 was one of my smartest moves, and I can't ever regret spending life with this man I love and who loves me so fiercely back. I think he's part of the reason I love marriage so much, and consequently photographing weddings. I found this quote while we were engaged, and I think it will always be true of us...
How did I get here? I've been gifted with
a vast work background . I've
worked in large scale events producing
gatherings for 400,000 plus people,
managed in fashion retail while working
my way through getting a Psychology
Degree, and been able to teach in a
variety of platforms & places. At the time,
I had no clue these experiences would
be lending themselves to something
I've been passionate about since being
young, photography. After marriage to
an amazing man and the birth of my beautiful first child. I found myself at home and...needing to remember the part of me that loves beauty and light. The Lord led me to dusting off my camera, and the pieces started to fall into place. It's been a wild ride since then. I feel as if I can see again, but with wiser and stronger eyes. For me, photography always has been and always will be about love, relationships, beauty, and LIFE...through the Lens. My mission now is to create truly incredible images and an unforgettable experience for the amazing people I get to work with. Everyday.
Want to hear me talk forever? Ask me about this little person, who is already getting so big. She brings me sunshine and a whole new perspective of life.As we tell each other, she makes "My Heart Go Flitter Flutter!" My life will never be the same since she came. We are expecting our 2nd kiddo in late winter of 2018, and seeing Hannah as a big sister is one of the greatest joys in the process. #mommylife!
I alway have been, and always will be, an animal person. Myla isn't a human, but she has a huge place in our little family. Blue Heelers, or Australian Cattle Dogs, are strong, loyal, and smart through and through. She's no exception, with the sweetest heart to be found. And, she's a good lookin' girl!
Dance is a place that makes my
soul sing! I started dance late, my mother looked until late elementary school to find an activity I loved. Once she tried dance, it was done. After high school there was a large gap of "no dance" due to the season of life I was in. In 2014 I found an incredible group of people to begin with again. I currently dance and teach at Lighthouse Dance, and was shocked that I could even get back up on pointe a little, little bit. Oh man, that was a big deal to me!
I am SO grateful to live in this incredible state of Colorado!!! I was born and raised here, and definitely have altitude in my blood. Adventure is out there, and it is a favorite part of my life!
Great to "meet" you! I'm Alysha, a mountain girl, psychology nerd, and creative personality. If I could, I'd have an amazing organic garden and cook the most incredible food from it. I will eat pretty much anything if it has enough
